I have been using the tax software for years. It is so easy, just import previous year's tax info. It almost completes itself. I just have to input the year's income (easy since I've been retired over 12 years).
Pros: Easy to import documents

I am a veteran user of this product. Several years without experiencing any issues. It is very user friendly. Previously I would have rated the software with 4 or 5 stars. However, this year I did experience a problem. After completing my return, I later (after e-filing) and looking over my printed copy found an error which will result in the need to file an amended return. My downloaded dividends were enterer twice which inflated my AGI. The review phase did not catch the error.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I’ve been using H&R Block software for a few years and have been basically satisfied with how it operates. One frustrating thing, though – for two years in a row, my information has not been carried over to the new return I was starting and so I had to enter it manually.

I have used Block for awhile. I feel like it keeps getting dumbed down. I like standalone pc program. I want it to have all the options. I don't want to review my return with someone. Then I want better future planning built on the current year figures. I don't need to start over figuring out what I might have for income in retirement. I will not be using Microsoft or Apple products anymore. I want a Linux option for the PC program.
