Test of time!!

This is my 14th year using H&R Block - Deluxe. My 1st year began in 2004. I never had one problem or need to call the help desk. All 14 were transmitted without a problem on the 1st filing.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast

I've been a TurboTax customer for years but the many 2017 customer complaints and the bothersome issues I had last year made me try H&R Block this year. Glad I did. It loaded easy on Windows 10, it never locked up, I could print without going through gyrations. Both my fed and NY state returns were accepted within 12 hrs. New York state filers should note that New York state forbids electronic tax services from adding on an additional filing charge if the original purchase price included an advertised state download. So what you pay at the retailer is what it costs in New York. For me, that was a $30 savings from last year. Good product and a good feeling that I wasn't being deceived by greedy corporate tactics.

Purchase this every year and it can not be easier to file then I pass it on to my kids to use now they all do there own taxes and find they get there returns faster and get more back on there refunds than having a local tax preparer do them. Give it a try and you will see how simple and easy this program makes it.
