I think it's the best Personal tax software on the market. I have used it in previous years.

Another year using H&R Block

While the program for the current year is as good as always and I have a great deal of confidence in using the program, the Planning section for next years taxes is next to worthless. It does not ask for retirement income, pension or RMD

Worked okay but need to fix Safari Update process

The program is easy to use and imported last year's info okay. The only complaint is that auto-update does not work for MacBook. It just locks up and sits there. Fortunately I found other blogs on the internet and learned this is an on-going problem with the software for Safari. You just have to find the updates and manually install them then it works okay. Wish H&R block would have said this up front, or better yet fixed auto-update.
I will likely continue to use H&R block again next year, since I have been able to find places to buy it that have been better value than their competitor.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import, Fast
Cons: Hard to fix issues

Works fine as usual - had an issue with a non-existent problem. Kept telling me an entry on a 1099-R form ("X") was marked tentative but it was not and I couldn't get it to go away.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Easy to import, Fast
Cons: Hard to fix issues

After accepting Credit Card payment to file State Taxes, no option to print an invoice / receipt of CC purchase, nor is one e-mailed. Such is needed for my CC receipts.

It works without drama

I have used the HR Block product ever since there were privacy concerns with a competing product, probably 10 years or more. Each year the product does exactly what it says, prepares my tax return with a minimum of input from me. No problems no drama!
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to install
