I have used H and R Block software for over 10 years. I have found H and R Block software easy to use, accurate and updated to the current state and federal tax laws for those different years. I would highly recommend using it to do your taxes. I have never had a serious issue using it.

First time using, I have always used TurboTax. Rating a 2 because when I went to submit to the IRS the system said it needed to update, so I did the update to be told again it needed updated. My bank account was charged multiple times but they did fall off after 4 days. But a total of 4 charges. I don't know if I will use again.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is our third year using HR Block Tax Preparation software. It is easy to navigate, easy to submit to Federal and State. I have used online support and spoken to support personnel on the phone. All has been seamless. I generally prepare tax returns for us and two of our employed children, one has a side business in addition to his full time job. HR Block software makes the task easier.

I love the downloadable version, especially when it takes me through the interview questions and fill things out for me. It anticipates most of my questions, and if I need to ask somebody, I can use the live chat. It takes a minute as you have to get past the AI chat to actually talk to somebody, but the AI was able to help with all but two of the questions. Really good software and deduction pro is totally worth It. I just wish they would go back to the tax cut name lol
