Been buying the Deluxe Federal and State for years now and will continue to do so. The software makes filing your taxes really easy. Easy to import past years taxes and the software auto inputs all that info.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import

took about 20 mins from start to finish for both federal and state. very user friendly and easy to use. will keep using H&R Block every year!

I've been using H&R Block tax software for the past 6 years. It saves me a lot of time and the price is reasonable. So it's a win-win for me. I'll use it again next year.

Program Failure-NYS

I input checking account routing and account numbers in the NYS program. I just discovered these numbers do not appear on my copy of my NY return which I just printed AFTER filing it electronically. Probably NYS will bill us for the amount due and may add a late fee. We expect Block to reimburse us for your failure.

Cons: Hard to fix issues

H and R Block send me a disc each year and I am glad that they do. I like to use the format on the disc.

This is my 6th year using H%R Block. Once I have all of my paperwork, I can do my state and federal in about 4 hours AND I know there are no math errors.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast

Good for Federal return but the state tax costs as much again to purchase! I'm filing state tax manually.
Pros: Easy to install, Maximizes refund
