Consistent success for many years

I have been using H&R Block for many year. It has helped me through my own taxes, plus the estate taxes for which I had responsibility some years ago. Now as I transition again in life, it still is easy to use and explains everything I need to know.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import

I've used Turbo Tax in the past; however, since money was tight this year, I decided to give H&R a try. I am very happy with my decision. It was easier to use and very user friendly.

Wrong previous year AGI. Rejected by IRS.

The amount of the 2016 AGI entered by the program was wrong. Had to manually overwrite it to correct it. Was correct in the 2016 form, but the imported amount was different. As soon as I corrected was accepted by the IRS. Couldn't find any number to call for assistance, so I had to figure out how to change it. The program would not allow me to simply change it. How the wrong amount was entered in the 2017 form is beyond me. Like I said the 2016 had it correct, the 2017 form had it wrong.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Hard to fix issues
