Cost effective Program for limited income user.

I used this program last year and it easily downloaded the last year info into this year's (2025} program. But I did have trouble the State return,
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using H&R Block for a number of years. I am very happy with the service. This year however, there seemed to be a problem with the Fed treatment of K-1 loss caried forward amounts. As a result I had to wait for updates to handle this, and eventually had to do a work around to file. I will continue to use H&R Block because of my familiarity with it and max refunds.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using H&R Block software for my taxes for the last several years. In general It works well. Every year there seems to be one or two unexpected issues that crop up but I can usually find the answer using the help function of the software or with a little online searching.
Pros: Easy to prepare

It got the job done, but is not nearly as user friendly as
TurboTax.

I have used HRBlock software for at least 10 years and know its accuracy and inputs well. This year tax profile changed allot due to retirement and Stock Markets. Boy, the ending on Federal was fairly normal and easy, but State results threw me off and I went through program at least 5 times. End result, Program was right and I had the wrong thinking. Satisfied and Accepted.

Why did I need to pay to file my State tax return when I purchased a package for 5 Federal filing and 1 State filing? Otherwise this is a great software package. Quick and easy.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
