Impossible to fix errors for 1099R on imported fil

I purchased program that I thought had the state tax included but to my surprise had to pay more to add that feature. Most important a 1099R File imported from my broker it stated that there was no cost basis for stock that was reported to the IRS and was not necessary but your program has not solution to the problem since there was no 1099B form providing the numbers.
Cons: Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fed return ok, state return not

You need to spend a little more time on the state returns. Colorado allows charitable deductions even if you take the standard deduction. If this amount is entered in the federal return, it does not flow to the state return, you have to go to the federal return to find the number to enter on the state return. Also, the state return told me that I might have a penalty even though I didn't owe any tax. When I clicked on "figure the penalty" it said that form wasn't included and that I would have to find it online. If I did that, then I couldn't efile. Very weird.
Cons: Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used this program for years and I have never had a problem. H&R Block makes doing taxes as simple as possible.

It is easy to use and makes filing simple. The questions guide you though the program without requiring any tax knowledge on your part.

I've been using H&R Block for the past few years and what I like the best is the ability to automatically download all the stock dividend information as well as other stock transactions throughout the year. Saves me a lot of time. One issue I found was that it did not automatically enter my address in all the Form 1088-R's that I had. Easy to fix but should have also been easy for the software to do.

It would help if the development of Job Related Expenses had more detail, such as several lines to list different items by name. Then, next year's version would use that list as a reference guide for the current year.
