It guides you through all the paper work,does calculations, and prints the results. Works for me.

Errors in Pennsylvania State Tax Return

H&R Block did not carry miscellaneous income from federal to PA state tax return declaring not taxable by PA. PA revised tax return with an additional $300 in taxes due to this error.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Easy to import
Cons: Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great program with a major problem problem

I have been using the H&R Block for years. No problem with the software. The problem is that when my state filing was rejected, I was charged three times to refile. I had recently married and the issue was related to the spelling of my wife's maiden name. The first charge was completely legitimate, but then H&R Block charged me two more times. One of the two was reversed so I was double charged to file the state return. I wrote to H&R Block with no response. Will probably use someone else next year.
Pros: Easy to import, Fast
Cons: Hard to fix issues, Hard to install
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Tax Reporting Program

I've been using this program for over 10 years now. The consistent format each year is great for creating familiarity with each of the sections. The fact that it pulls in my financial information is also good and attempts to walk us through each section logically. I like the help sections and the form sections. I like that you can open up the Whole Form to see how our entries are being recorded. All of this makes this program one I will continue to use.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to import
Cons: Time consuming

KY questionnaire doesn't include questions regarding state pension income exemptions...schedule P is not included. Disappointed

RENTAL INCOME FRON FEDERAL RETURN IS TRANSFERRED AS A GROSS AMOUNT TO NJ RETURN. NEW JERSEY WANTS A NET AMOUNT

I purchased this at Staples in Lake Elsinore, Ca .I have used this man time before with the same EXCEPTIONAL RESULTS! Well designed, user friendly and comfortable to the user even if IU have a Ph.D. s a Psychologist and as a prior Commissioned Officer Rank 0-5 Commander with the USPSH OSG Office of the US Surgeon General . The Federal and State of Ca. tax laws can be extremely confusing and H & R Block simplifies it immensely. I AM VERY PLEASED AS WELL AS IS MY SPOUSE : KUDOS!:)!!
