This product is not what it has been and is much more expensive to use. I will not use it again.

Font Problems continue for years

I have used HRB Taxcut for way over 10 years and it continues to have font problems on screen and printouts. If the Windows Text Size is small, I can't read Taxcut on the screen. If it is at 150% or even 125% so I can read, then descriptions overflow or get cut off. Printouts, such as Compare to last year, have numbers that overflow the form and can't be entirely read. I still can not recommend this software to anyone who wears glasses.
Pros: Easy to import
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had to enter data two times did not accurately save as expected.

The HR Block deluxe FAILED to direct me to the correct "Interview" to calculate my taxable pension.. Had to find it by searching, Hint use RRB1099 to find the input area.
Cons: Hard to fix issues, Hard to prepare

Good Program with export bug

I overall like the program a lot but have not been able to find H&R support to report bugs in the tool. H&R seems to have a plethora of Tax information and forms. Overall the tool runs fast and has a good entry menu format. The export PDF engine PDF995 supplied with the tool does not print out the Federal return even when selecting it however using Microsoft's PDF printer driver works fine. Do not be fooled by the return codes which indicate everything is working when using PDF995. Open up each PDF generated to confirm you have what you requested.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Easy to import, Fast

I had trouble downloading report from institutions initially, but it later resolved itself. The server was apparently down or overwhelmed. That was the only trouble I had.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good but unable to E file Federal Return

For the first time I was unable to e file our federal return. On Schedule D software would not accept my net short-term (line 5) or long term gain (line12) figures as in previous years. Error messages called both of them calculations to override which in turn prevented e-filing.
Pros: Easy to install, Maximizes refund, Easy to import
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues
I would recommend this to a friend!
