was able to successfully use it to calculate my taxes. However, it crashed when I tried to use it to download financial information from my financial institution, so I had to manually enter all of the information that otherwise would have been entered for me. It also failed to update to new versions and it failed to create a combined software and data file. These failures cast doubt on the quality of the software.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

Have used H&R Block software for many years. Very disappointed that Merrill Lynch statements did not import and I had to manually enter :( Also the mouse pointer seems to constantly go to the bottom of the screen. Not a computer issue on my end.

Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

It takes way too long to file this way if you know in advance that the Standard Deduction is going to be your ultimate direction. There needs to be a shortcut for retired people with no mortgage and medical below the 7% threshold to go directly to the Standard Deduction.
