Language Too Technical

As I was doing my taxes with this software I had an uneasy feeling about whether or not I was making the right decisions, overlooking things that could possibly have reduced my payment or increase my refund. This was due mainly because the language of the explanations seemed to be straight out of the IRS or State codes or definitions, in other words, in language that was for tax professionals and not the average tax payer who wants to do his own taxes to save some money.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to import, Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Simple and easy to use

I've been using H&R Block tax prep software for years and have always found it easy to install and use. I've used TurboTax before that and found the H&R Block programs every bit as easy to use. So far I've never had a tax return questioned by either the IRS or state.
The only complaint that I have with it is having to use MS Windows to run it. If H&R Block would create a Linux version (my prefered computer operating system), I would gladly pay the same price or more for it.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast

Good except for one form missing

I like H&R Block tax software...Have used it for years....It's very good, easy to use, and issues are clearly explained. My only gripe is that in the Illinois state software, Schedule 1299-C was not included. I'll be taking a credit through that form, and because the form is not part of the software, more than likely I'll not be able to file my Illinois taxes via Efile, but instead via paper submission.

Easy but yet complicated. Some things are easy to understand and some not. Need to give better explanations on some items. The average person needs something that is easy to understand. I have the paper work in front of me that I need but you use different or complicated terminology then whats on my paper work. Can be a pain and takes to long.
Pros: Easy to install, Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

The software is easy to use as you go along. But it is sometimes difficult to clear up the details when you are wrapping up and getting ready to file.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Easy to import
