The Mortgage Interest form wanted an explanatory statement. This rejected the efile.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues

Couple of Glitches

Possible glitches re: Foreign Tax Paid and Misc. Inc. in that only one 1116 form must be used for the former, all 3 columns must be used before going to a second page for the latter. I had to make these corrections myself.
I also suggest being warned about using one entry for the 1099B proceeds and then putting in subentries. That may have saved a little work.

Could not import State return

I doubt that I will ever buy this program again. Difficult to file electronically. Was forced to buy state return even though I had purchased the deluxe edition.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to fix issues, Hard to install, Hard to import

Not compatible with financial institution of EDJ

I have used H&R Block for years but this will be the last year. I was unable to download the info from my 1099-Div, Interest, etc from my financial institution , Edward Jones and therefore had to enter it all manually. Having it downloaded is very important to me.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import

Importing tax data from previous year, automated worksheets & easy e-filing options make the H&R Block tax software a great product. Using it for the last 10 years. Very satisfied.
