Consistent, reliable product

Would have given five stars but the cost of using online payment for taxes is steep.
Also installation of Mac version is variable: some years smooth, some not.

Overall great product

It has a few minor bugs, and there are definite areas for improvement in the user interface, but overall it's a great program. I switched from a competitor about 5 years ago and haven't looked back. As a bonus, it's much cheaper.

Iwasnt impressed with the "help" A lot of the questions weren't explained and to try to find them by topic wasn't easy or the answers just weren't there. I felt really suckered into the low intial purchase price. My return was very simple but to get the federal and state software I was forced to buy the "deluxe" version for homeowners/investors. The only redeeming feature is that the software did install and work easily. I'm not coming back next year for sure.
Pros: Easy to install
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Smooth Sailing to accuracy and best results

Years back, I tried both Turbo Tax (which I received for free) after I bought HR Block for the same year. Since then I am a loyal customer of HR Block! It is getting better and better every year. This year it took me 4 hours to fill my info, to e-file the return and copy it and receive the IRS acceptance. What a relief!!!
