One of the things that I had an issue with was finding where I needed to put my RMD money. I ended up choosing two different locations and ran my taxable income up substantially. I think you do a good job with the interviews and overall, they make sense, but I had some confusion as to where to put some of the elements of my return. I also had some confusion about sold stock gains and losses. I sold more at a loss than gain and I did the same thing last year but the number that came up at the end to the page didn't make any sense to me. I also wasn't sure how the rollover from last year was supposed to work. Those were the biggest problems that I had. One last one, I don't remember needing EIN numbers before and finding them was a bit of a hassle.
Pros: Easy to prepare

I bought the Deluxe software because I hoped it would not lead me into dead ends like your lower level software. Unfortunately, I still ran into a wall of no information about how to handle information on my K-1. Using IRS instructions and talking to a friend, I figured out how to provide information to your software so that I could complete my taxes with relative confidence, but I think your software should be able to ask me the proper questions so that I don't have to go to the IRS and a friend. And I think my use of your software in past years has led me to miss out on the QBI deduction, which does not make me happy.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent except lack of support for Wells Fargo

Overall excellent product, I have been using it 30+ years since it was Kiplinger's TaxCut. My only complaint is that you don't support importing from Wells Fargo investment accounts.
