I have been using HR Block for over 10 years and usually it’s a fairly easy experience, but this year was the worst! Technical / software problems prevented me from submitting both my federal and state forms without hours of redoing it over and over and I am still unsure what I did to finally get it to submit. It was forcing me to fill in worksheets such as Social Security that I did not have to because I do not yet receive benefits but due to my age it ASSUMED I did!!! So dang frustrating!!!
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

got thru the fed return fine but didn't have anything more complicated than 1099-Bs. when it comes to AZ state, it doesn't support form 309 (taxes pd to another state or country). if that's not important to you then this program is a solid choice.

My wife and I found out that we owed no taxes again this year. Because our RMD's were larger we just wanted to be sure. The program was pretty easy to use but some IRS definitions were not easy to understand and your program didn't really explain them for easy understanding.
