We trusted that H&R Block sent right away, our electronic payment we set up at the moment we sent our file income tax. We received a letter from IRS saying that they did not receive our payment.

I have a medium complex return (self-employed , capital gains, passive foreign investments). However, all the income is reported to me on some form. All I have to do is place it in the proper location. H&R Block makes that straight forward.

I think you should develop a flag about things like donations that may make a filer more vulnerable. My mother passed and I had a huge amount of physical donations for which I got receipts but I still feel nervous.
Pros: Easy to import, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
