I've been using H&R Block (formerly Tax Cut and At Home) for 20+ years. I can prepare my taxes accurately and the program is relatively easy to use. However, taxation is necessarily complicated and one really must know the rules that affect them in order to get the best result. Many input items are not well placeed on the forms and the calculations won't be complete if the information is not entered properly. I'm an accountant and I know what my tax return should look like, so over the years, I learned where to enter everything in the software.

I have been using this program for 10 years.
Sometimes the instructions are not real clear when saving copy as s PDF. It asks fo you want to save this return each time & I say yes. Then I end up with 2 or 3 returns for the same year. I want to save a PDF for the Fed & a separate for the state. I guess I am doing something wrong.

I have been using H&R block software for years. Always satisfied! They stay current with tax law changes and keep you informed of the progress of your return. Have never been disappointed. You do have to follow instructions which are made as plain as possible.

Software worked as advertised. Had a few problems with typos on my part that caused return to be rejected. Software could tell me there was a problem but not what the problem was and therefore I had to read back through every form, twice, in order to finally see that I had mis-entered my drivers license issue date. Very frustrating.
