Inadequate explanatory material under Help.

I never found a useful explanation of an entry by clicking on help. For example, I could never find a narrative response explaining what deductions on my Form 1040 created a liability for the AMT.
Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy way to file taxes. I do wish there were more spaces allowed for entering State information from your W-2. I travel and typically have 5-6 states I work throughout they year and they is only 3-4 spaces to enter the info

I HAVE USED H&R BLOCK TAX SOFTWARE FOR OVER 15 YEARS NOW. I WOULD NEVER USE ANY OTHER KIND. MY LATE BROTHER-IN-LAW USED ANOTHER SOFTWARE FOR HIS TAXES AND HE SHOWED ME THE SOFTWARE. TOO CONFUSING FOR THIS OLE GAL!

I have used hr block for 5 years. This year for 2017 tax return, it does not allow e-file for my IL state return. Also when I try to print out forms for mail return, many numbers do not fit the blanks of PDF file with missing digits. Disappointed.
