H&R was simpler to use for me, a 20 years Turbo Tax user with tax experience and a Finance degree. TT was getting too cumbersome and opaque. It was also becoming unstable and failed to carry forward past tax return information. To finally drive me away, they no longer supported my Windows system. I hope H&R Block will continue backward compatibility with Vista.

I have used the H&R Block tax program for many years and am very happy with it. The one area where I had trouble this year was in including the complete sale of a limited partnership. I had to find a way to manually enter information regarding ordinary gain on the sale in to a 4797. I only knew to do that because my financial advisor pointed it out to me. I feel that the program should make that entry automatically for me.
