I have used H&R Block software for years and like how easy it is to use. However, I may be facing a State penalty as when I filed my Federal extension, it did not inform me that the rules had changed and I needed to file a State extension as well. Last year, Federal extension covered both, but I owed this year, and the software did not indicate this or prompt me to continue.

Disappointed that same problems and subpar items continue without improvement. More I know, worse I realize it is. And it’s search and index feature was and still is AWFUL

I had never had any problems with H&R Block until this year. I could not get my taxes to e-file because I kept getting an error message. I had to keep retrying to load the update until it worked and it took me too long to give this software more than a one star.
