I have been using H&R Block’s tax software since TurboTax upset its users back in 2014. Now an avid user. No intention of going back unless Block makes this he same mistakes.
Software works great for my purpose. Gives me free electronic filing for federal and one free state. The deluxe version that is.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Easy to import, Fast

I used this software way back when was called Tax Cut. l purchased the CD and always had access to it when and where l needed. However, this year the CD version was not available, and I had to buy the digital download version. I had downloading issues.
I would prefer to own a CD version but love the software and am planning to use it next year as well.

Been using this tax prep software for 5 years now and this year's was not as good as previous. It asked me to check the federal tax code a few times this year in areas it should have been a stand alone product. I'll cross my fingers for 7 years and hope. For that I can't recommend Block software and will try this again next year warily.
