As I have for the past 10 or 15 years, I use the H&R Block deluxe edition software on my computer. This year was buggier than in past years. They were parts of the interview at which the program would quit and I would need to reopen it. Also the instructions for form 8949 and schedule D were terrible. Usually I am confident that the program got my tax return correctly, but this year I have no such confidence.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pretty easy to use, but misleading in price. It claims to do state, but you have to pay an extra fee to submit it. There was also a fee to pay money due to the IRS that had a very high hidden fee as well.

You could make it easier to use. For example, one should be able to print of next year's estimaed tax payments without having to input all the information again.

Good product, but I have a few issues doing my taxes with the software. First, it is impossible to increase the font size to read forms and such. When using a web browser, if you press <ctrl> and the "+" key, font size increases. This is frustrating. Second, several areas I need to use a browser AI to get help on various how to do things. Example, when filing and needing to figure which option to use for paying taxes with PayPal, it would be better is the options actually said PayPal.
