Been using since the mid 90's.
Every year I open the previous years return for comparison. It would be really helpful if you could change the "color" of the accents so that when i toggle (alt tab) between returns, i could immediately know that i'm on the other years return... Just change between two or three colors conseculatively... thanks. I mean Heck! It doesn't cost you anything.

Not as simple as using TurboTax. The state section could be better. The question about filing an extension on last year's filing. I didn't file an extension and paid what was owed on state immediately. The question on your software in which should have not been asked in the first place was misleading. I had to check with the IRS to confirm what I had already known to be true. Transferring information over from Federal to State and still being asked questions that don't make sense is bogus.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have used Tax Cut for years and like it. This year was a flop. We had issues with adding a QCD and unclear explanations of the new tax incentives.

great software except did not allow Merrill import

Entering taxes was easy as it could be except it dId not allow me to import data from Merrill. If it had allowed me to import data from Merrill, i would have given 5 stars out of 5
