I was so dreading income tax after new law and selling a house. Relatively simple!

Couldn't be easier to use

This is the first year of doing taxes after retiring. The tax software made filing this year very easy. Very pleased, and I would recommend HR Block to everyone.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Hard to install

The H&R Block Deluxe + State CD was very hard to install, it took over 4 hours of trying, it finally loaded, and customer service never answers when you need help.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to fix issues, Hard to install
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Delayed e-filing due to server problem

Yesterday morning I tried to e-file and received the SSL error message that I couldn't connect to their server, even though I had uploaded software updates just minutes earlier. The online help was helpful but didn't solve the problem. I was able to e-file later that day, however, I lost about 20 minutes troubleshooting before giving up.

Cannot e-file Wisconsin return with the federal

In prior years my taxes would be filed and I'd be on to the rest of the winter. This year it is February 1st and I am notified Wisconsin will not be ready until February 15th.So my refund sits gathering interest for Wisconsin and I will not be able to file until our return in mid March as we will be gone until then.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
