I have used the H&R Block deluxe tax software for years. It is easy to use and interviews you on every tax subject. This makes it easy to enter your data. If you used this tax program in prior years like I have, you can upload last year's data and cut down on the amount of typing you have to do.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast

I have both Henry and Richard's software as well as Turbo Tax. H & R Block was what we used last year. Turbo Tax was off on Federal and same for State. Going to stick with H& R
Pros: Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Fast

Confusing Rejecrion

I filed my Federal and state taxes. Federal was accepted and state was rejected and it me a code. Can’t file any rejection code giving on your site or Ohio site. Last year couldn’t file state taxes using your program because my school district wasn’t assigned a code make several calls to you but you refuse to correct issue. Had to file state states on state free cite and lost deductions because of it. May to do same thing this year because of lack of information
Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was amazed at how quickly I was able to breeze through my return. It's the earliest I've ever filed, much of what I needed was carried over from my previous year's return, which helped make it go easy and fast.

I have been using H&R Block for over 10 years. I would strongly recommend it to new users who want to do their own taxes. It's actually a great learning experience.

I switched to H&R about five years ago and have no regrets. I formally used Turbo Tax which became cumbersome and more costly. No regrets at all about switching. Some things could be a little clearer, but I suspect it has to do with the ever changing tax system.
