The software was easy to us. Federal a snap. Support for CO state lacked a bit. I had an Enterprise credit, which was at best difficult at state level. H&R did NOT support this with needed forms, so I had to go to state web site, AND this also caused a manual filing (because H&R did not support Enterprise Credit). Not very pleased with this situation. Fortunately, the amount of money involved is modest, and I may simply not try to claim the credit in another year.
I have happily used the H&R Block program for years. This year, filling out the return went smoothly. But when I tried to print the return as a .pdf, it printed an old return of mine instead of the current return. When I printed on the printer it was correct. This should be a minor bug for them to fix, but it definitely needs to be corrected.
Gave it 4 stars, but would have been 5 stars if I could get it to print right. It prints the top of page 1 and the bottom of page 2 together. Looks goofy and I have to produce this for other reasons concerning the State and County requirements. Hope they accept it. If not, will have to go to Turbo Tax next time.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import
I'm so satisfied with this product. It is very easy to use and it has so many tools and features to help you all the way through the process of filing your own tax. Thank you.
Yesterday I thought completed my taxes. Both Federal and state performed an accuracy test with a congratulations upon a correction. The federal tax efiled fine, however upon attempting the state it displayed a window saying errors still existed(from my federal return 1099 entries). I checked and everything was accurate with no apparent errors. I tried to correct by reentry of the same data and got a message that I needed to print the state and send in. So is there an error that I do not see that I’m sending in, which could cause a problem I don’t want to deal with.
