I have been a user of H&R Block s0ftware for more than 25 years. I had some errors last year (i.e. 2024) that was my fault. As a result, I had a difficult time to electronically submit the 2025 returns. After making 4 attempts, I mailed a hard copy of the returns. I definitely think, your software, in its current state, lacks some "accurate definitions" for some terms like AGI, etc.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The software is very intuitive and easy to use. I even got my dad to use it this year and, other than a couple of small questions, he did his taxes on his own for the first time in years with no issues.

This is my 10th year using H&R Block software. It always does a good job and walks me through the process. It then offers suggestions for issues it has found.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
