No glitches, worked well

Very good except showed one data point to check form 8962, PTC. Reason is I received two monthly SLCSP premiums for one month. Suggested pro help. Worksheet on health.gov showed proper input for me.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues

I bought this in December, but had to wait until received all tax days on income and expenses.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to fix issues

Pretty good, but sometimes clunky and confusing

Good job, again! I wonder about the limits on what is imported from the previous year's information... a few things I would think had been saved I had to go look up in my printed copy and re-enter for use this year. Some confusion on the final e-file: forced an update, and forgot all the e-file info I had just entered, even though it had prompted me to save the return as part of the update. And always complains about my screen resolution. Why does it want 1024x768, when it works fine with higher resolutions? Go figure. Little things aside, the software works to organize your tax records and fill in the proper forms. I like.

Difficult Product

I had a lot of problems navigating the screens and checking my information. In the past, if you said "go to" it went to what you wanted and you could see where that was. This year you could not change things and correct information easily. There are a lot of incorrect messages coming up. ex. Already prepared my State portion and it still comes up "Prepare State" I did not file a Federal extension and it comes up extension on screen one. Could not find the worksheet for certain amounts on the Federal Return or how the software determined that amount. Last years was much easier to use. I am a former software engineer so I do know my way around screens.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to import
Cons: Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was a little disappointed in importing info from my TurboTax files from years past. I had expected a more complete import. Also, your AGI for 2017 was not correct & had to be edited. I have not used H&R Block in the past as your form indicated.

E-filing issue

I finished our taxes yesterday. In an hour or two, I got emails saying the federal and state had been accepted by the IRS & our state tax board, and directing me to go to the 'check status' section within the programs. I did that, and it tells me the returns were NOT filed. I'm not sure how to resolve this problem, as I find nothing in the help section.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to fix issues

Complete package

This is the first year that I attempted to complete my own tax prep as I was tired of paying large fees to file with an accountant. I found it easier than I thought and am glad that I saved a lot of money in the process.
