I've been using H & R Block tax software for years. Why, Because it's easy to use and I am assured of its accuracy. Though I could get the 'other' software for free, I would rather spend the money and use H & R Block software with ease and confidence.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast

Not Easy to Fix Issues

I'm a long time user of the software and I'll probably get it again next year since I'll be using the standard deduction from now on. I itemized and the software found something that needed to be corrected and the instructions on how to do that weren't clear enough and it took me forever to get it right. Long story short I had to go and do the entire form over again. What a waste of time but I eventually got it right.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to fix issues
