I picked up the Homeowner + State version. Steps through your returns in an easy to understand way. The fact that it imports from previous years makes it a breeze since I've been using H&R Block's software for several years. The only thing I wish it had the option to import is my property ID. That hasn't changed in over 10 years - you'd think if other data can be imported from previous returns, that could be also. With many free options out there now, it may be a bit pricey - especially since the cost to e-file your state return isn't included in the cost - but the convenience of importing (most) data is work it to me.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I bought this because it was federal and state; and I have used it before. Unfortunately, prior years would allow you to create one state return and it included efile. That is no longer the case. Since KY list HRB on their alliance state return website I feel efile should be free since I purchased a product that allows the state to be created. I am very unhappy with Block. Ya'll need to do better...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I PURCHASE THIS PROGRAM EVERY YEAR. IT BRINGS THE INFORMATION FROM PREVIOUS YEARS AND SAVES ME A LOT OF TYPING.
