No help to file an extension

I can't quickly figure out how to file an extension. I found the form, but there is zero help.

Not happy with functionality this year. W-2 entries were not assigned initially to each person on joint return -‘had to manually change. Limit of mortgage interest related to outstanding principle could be estimated early and then adjust - ridiculous that it is not factored in at all and needs manual entry at the end.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

You are going to need to GREATLY increase the interaction and depth of tax knowledge that your product offers or it will be overrun by newer AI versions in the next year. Your product & minimal support is suited for only the simplest of applications.

Very difficult to maneuver

Very difficult to maneuver. For a non-tax person, you have made this software too complex. I like the online version better which guides you through better. This version is lacking in so many ways. You give long forms on the review like I know what to do.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

1. Where the child tax credit was applied was unclear and it looked like it wasn’t included properly until I went into the individual forms to confirm. Rather than applying towards my tax liability as credits should, the software reduced my tax liability effectively hiding that the credit applied.
2. I am so sick of the bait-and-switch “free state, free online submission” that somehow doesn’t include actually submitting the state return.
