The new Community Property Form 8958 is confusing.

I have a B.S. degree in Accounting. I have used this software for 10 years. There is not a step that this software leaves out! I would NEVER switch!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I have used this product for several years and it always walks me through everything. It is so easy to use. However it wouldn't download from the disc so downloaded it from the HR block site... Might be my drive, not certain the problem with the disc

It does not have a feature that it had years ago, "Check Updates". I had been waiting as it told me then there was NO "Button" to do so and I receive a letter that I MIGHT have a 1099 coming from a stock that I have had for 10 yrs with no action. I looked for the "Check for updates" button without seeing one. I do not believe I would have a 1099 from that company but I wanted to see if there was any changes in the tax forms before filing. I filed anyway. This product needs more work done to make it as good as the previous years. Also, I was forced to purchase a program with the state program included while there is no state income tax in Texas. I have been using H&R Block for years & I do not like having to download a program I can not use fully.
