Converted from Turbo Tax. 2025 tax return is the first year with H&R. Needs refinement. Lots of amateurish design. For example, if you import a 1099-B, and then the 1099 is adjusted by the brokerage and you import the updated form, HR doesn't update the prior data, it adds the 1099 as a new 1099, double counting your DIV, INT CAP G/L, etc info. The program should replace the old 1099 data. I bet a lot of people have over-reported their income because of this. Lots of other annoyances with the ease of navigation. There needs to be a much better high level summary of your tax return where every item of income, expense, credit, etc, has a link to the underlying data input. There are piece-meal summaries (Income, deductions) but it really should be so much better.
