The software works fine for doing the taxes. My problem is dealing with the upgrades and getting the state add-on. Every year for the last 5 or 6, I have needed to call in to get support to get the state version that doesn't require me to pay additional money. Also, the software update does not function properly and I need to reload the download from online to get the latest version.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare

This is my 6th year of using H&R Block Tax program. So I knew what I was getting into as far as Tax preparation goes. The only thing different this year from years past, Is I am now 75 yrs old and cant always remember where I stashed the previous years memory stick containing last years forms. Bravo! all I had to do is click on a box clearly marked on the opening screen, and somewhere is this electronic jungle, the Turbo Tax program within seconds found my forms and filled in required info. Now I felt like I was in control, I had minimized my use of swear words and felt a surge of confidence entering all the current year information. What is there left to say? . . . BRAVO H&R Tax program writers and assemblers.
