I have been using H&R tax software for years and am generally happy with the software. It is reasonably easy to use and handles business income and capital gains well. Sometimes it is cumbersome to revisit an area as you might have to repeat multiple steps. The one negative is that the autorenewal has not worked for me. I get a notice that renewal is coming and then am billed, but never receive the authorization code. Now that support is front loaded with AI, it takes weeks to resolve that issue.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

I could not get it to go through. I tried at least 15 times to make it work but it didn’t. My son in law tried to get it to work too but he couldn’t either. I ended up downloading Turbo tax today so I could file on time. I spent money to get your product downloaded and then I spent a lot more money to get Turbo tax. I’m not happy at all
