it is good to use, couldn't use turbo tax. only difference is hr block is harder to return to a certain place without having to go thru the whole program

Mostly good. FYI, IRS does’t allow refund by check

Software was easy to use and I’ll value it much more when my taxes become more complicated. Only complaint is your software allowed me to request a check for my tax refund, but the irs contacted me to say this wasn’t allowed and only direct deposit to a bank account will be allowed
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

Does the basic stuff well, but has some deficiencies. Some forms are a little tricky and involve reading IRS regs to properly complete - something the average person would not be able to do well. The biggest issue I had though is that the program allowed me to designate receiving a refund by check, but the IRS has started phasing out checks. The program did not alert me to that problem.
