federal is fine but state is lacking

used the Indiana state tax program but there is nowhere to input my bank's routing number and account number. had to write that in by hand since I had to print and mail my return

MUCH better than Turbo Tax!!

Your software is so much easier to maneuver through and go back to areas, whereas Turbo tax would not change entries and make it a total headache if you tried to compare filing different ways,etc.
Ive used Turbo tax for MANY years and I will not go back for these reasons and your prices are less too for a better product!

Good, but has bug for 1099-R with Box 7 checked G

I spent many hours trying to figure out why the amount of taxable annuity distributions weren't being calculated correctly. It turns out that a 1099-R for a 401k that had two distributions, one taxable (to Roth IRA) and one nontaxable (to traditional IRA) both were considered taxable by the software. I ended up having to split the 1099-R into two 1099-Rs, one for the nontaxable part and one for the taxable part. I hope the IRS likes it.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

I was able to do my own taxes saving a lot of money in fees. It was super easy to do. Step by step instructions and I feel like a got a better tax return with this program

I have always used H & R Block software for so many years now. Those early years I had no problems e-filing my tax statement. But this year in 2019, I had a problem e-filing my tax statement for 2018. I kept updating the software just to e-file my tax statement, but I just could not e-file my tax statement. I think it is time H & R Block needs to upgrade or make improvements on their software to make e-filing tax statements a lot easier.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming
