Mac version keeps crashing.

this is very aggravating software.
Whenever i tried to download any info from a outside source the program would just crash
and loose any data i have entered. W2 ,dividends,brokerage nothing worked so i had to enter
everything manually.
I have used H&R block for years and every year i have at least 1 or 2 crashes
while doing my taxes. This year was the worst

Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

Simple and easy

This program asks questions and you simply fill in the blanks (your tax information for the tax year). It does all the calculating and before you know it, you are finished. I have two businesses (and keep a lot of receipts) and have always used these programs and fared really well. I figure there is no reason to pay someone else to enter the same tax information I can enter on my own and save a ton of money.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Gets the job done

I found some of the navigation difficult and links to help did not always seem logical, but was able to complete my federal return. Grouping of multiple stock transactions did not work as described, so I had to enter each transaction separately. Overall, I was able to complete my return with limited difficulty and the cost was lower than competing software.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming

I have purchased this software for at least 10 years. I prepare approximately 5 returns each year. I like the import of data from year to year. Once you get to know the program it is easy to use and prepares quality documents. I am a CPA and could purchase any software but I purchase H & R Blocks Software.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

I purchased this software about 2 weeks ago. Glad I did, because it was extremely easy to follow the instructions; almost as if someone was nearby. This process went smoothly and very efficiently, all the way through the e-file.

This is very easy to move through and then back to firms to change or add or correct entries.
