I have been using H&R Block for several years without problems.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Time consuming

In looking at my printout I did not see my pension income. I know it was put somewhere but the AGI does not reflect it. I had $3893 from AZ retirement pension and $524 from American General that does not appear to be in the AGI.
Pros: Easy to import documents

Unclear instructions

This is the 6th year I've used this software. I am very satisfied except I find it very difficult to use the tax preparation to figure my estimated taxes. It is confusing and unclear. I always juggle figures to make it come out with decent answers. Other than that, I like the value and otherwise ease of use.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

delux + state e-file

I thought the deluxe +state included e-file for both federal & State tax. The price for the package was expensive enough to include the state e- file also, but when I tried To e-file the state you wanted more money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
