I have been using H&R Block software for a number of years and it gets easier to use each year. The previous information is easily imported and there is a lot of flexibility in using the interview mode, combined with making corrections directly on the forms.

Please add more information on retirement. Add different kind of retirement. For instance if you retire from a company or a State. There needs to be better questions for lay people on their status of retirement. Also, some employers do not take taxes out of wages. Some employers just give a 1099 form. Many people do not own businesses. This needs to be fixed. Better easier questions with examples need to be implemented to determine and fix the tax filers status. The questions need to be easier to understand. The AI assistant was useless; it needs improving.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Been using for over 20 years, easy to use. Only complaint is when trying to download updates or transmitting tax data to IRS sometimes this takes several attemps, even if I have disabled the firewall.
