Good product; would like to see some improvements

Helpful software, but: 1) More guidance on what to do when you work in one state and live in another (I feel like I had to "fool the system" to handle my NY/NJ returns; 2) Same goes for processing Traditional/Roth IRA conversions (backdoor to Roth IRA for higher income earners).
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to prepare

H&R Block Software is GREAT! I been using it for a long time and have always been happy with it. The interview is understandable and easy to go through. I do wish they would come out with a Linux version as this is the last year I'll be running Windows.

State form would not accept since it thought the Federal for had something missing even the the check return did not have anything to review.
Cons: Time consuming

Have used it for years & certainly recommend it. This year our original submission was rejected. While prepar8ng the retu4n I never was instructed to enter our IRS Pin number. A simple yes/no entry would have avoided th3 rej3ction.
