Seemed easier this year

I have used this program for 10 plus years. I intend to use again.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

We have used this program for years and now our adult children are using it too. It is user friendly, very helpful and thorough

Difficult unnecessarily so

It is next to impossible to go directly to the tax return and input very slow and tedious former tax professional of 26 years
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better than TurboTax

I've been using H&R Block software for a few years now and I prefer it over Turbotax. I had one issue that frustrated me this year, however. Somehow my 2017 AGI was recorded incorrectly and trying to change that was not easy because the The instructions were wrong, telling me to go to Line 37 of my 1040 return to change it, but there was NO Line 37. I finally found the place to change it on my own after scrolling through the entire return and it was actually on a worksheet instead. Still better than TurboTax, though!

Was well worth my investment/compare to a Tax Expert, it is basement cheap

first time user for H&R. I have used others in the past and they weren't very user friendly. I read the reviews and they were good. I was hesitant and still afraid to do my own taxes. Result was great and everything went very well.. Excited to tell my kids to file with H&R. Thanks for the great product.
