I could normally do my own taxes. However, the changes were so overwhelming this year that this program helped tremendously.

Good easy to use Tax program, could use some more understandable instructions in some areas, but gets better each year.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

Easy but need better printing capabilities

Would like more control over printing. Sometimes I only need to print one page and I would like to be able to use my printers double sided printing feature.

I've been using H&R's software for several years. It has helped to ease my anxiety every year at tax time. I couldn't do without it. It guides me every step of the way, answers my questions, and helps me find all the state forms I need for my filing.

Never eFile State

I have used H and R software for 4 years and I have never had a State return get excepted the first time. I think the Company makes you pay extra for eFiling the State return because it's a revenue generator for them. This year I had to pay twice to eFile the State because the Federal return was rejected and the Company recommends filing them together. We'll see how many times the State will get rejected before I just paper file.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
