A breeze to use!

Bought this tonight and an hour later I have e-filed both Federal and State taxes. I was skeptical because I've used TurboTax for many years, but was pleasantly surprised at how easy this software was to use. Import of my 2017 TurboTax file was simple and accurate.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great until the end

Third year using H&R block software. Went through all the items and the final payment needed to the federal govt and state. Getting ready to file so put in all the credit card and bank info for direct transfer. When I go to submit it gets to the payment verification sending message and then tells me that i need to update the software. This happens two times, so I'm seeing three charges go through. I have my fingers crossed that it didn't send the same info to the state and federal govt... and was just for my credit card.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Easy To Get Through - - Very User Friendly

From start to finish, the H&R Block software has been easy to use and it walks me through every items I need to add to my tax return. I really like how it "remembers" prior year information and transcribes it onto the current year's return. Using this software year-after-year, at a very reasonable price, makes it all go so smoothly.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

Excellent Tax Software

I have used this software for the past 25 years, initially as TaxCut and now HRBlock. It has always been an excellent program, easy to use, and without errors. This year proved to be the easiest by far, thanks to the thoroughness of the program. It is a great and essential resource for anyone interested in doing their opwn taxes.

Using the program is easy enough until you want to pay. The site for payment is incredibly slow. After numerous attempts over several days, if I could get it to accept the credit card information, which took incredible patience in itself, the continue button would not work. This may not be your site, but it has your name on it and it's linked to your program. Not likely to return next year.
Pros: Easy to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Outstanding Tax Program

Once again, H&R Block hits a home run with their tax program! I've tried the other and it doesn't even come close with regard to data entry, clear instructions for each section, on line filing, and most of all, customer support. This is the tax program you should be using if you want simple, easy to understand steps, filing your tax return.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Highly recommend, the program is thorough takes you through interview of all your options. It also explains all the tax changes effective for 2018.
