I've been using the Deluxe/State version for several years and have a mostly positive experience with it. This year, the Merrill-Lynch download link was absent from the list and I had to enter the info manually. Whoever is at fault, this is inexcusable. Also, notification to retrieve the PIN# from the IRS website is not well-documented, with the entry point hidden in the miscellaneous section, and it is necessary to eFile the return. Without it the IRS rejected the return, so last year it took some outside checking to eventually find out how to get it from the IRS, which took about a month and cost me money in penalties and interest. H&RB should make this process more accessible by showing how to obtain the PIN#. This year I knew what to do, but the process had not changed.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

I've been using H&R Block's tax software for years. It hasn't changed much in that time, and is starting to feel a little dated. But the good news is it's familiar and does the job well.
