We have used HR Block federal and state return for the last 11 years and absolutely love it!! Easy to use and understand!

Just follow the instructions step by step ... anybody can do it. Before you know it yor're done.

Fast and Easy

Just finished filing my taxes for 2018. I have been using H&R Block for 15 years. I use the State software as well. Never had a problem. Great product.

Installation issues

I purchased this product on line from an email notification. I had to cut off several security programs in order to download the program. I spent more time trying to get the program to install than it took me to do my taxes. The automated help recording wasn't able to address my problem and made it hard to speak to a real person.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Tax Software, Easy to Use.

I have been using the H&R Block Tax Software for about 8 yrs.now, if you can read it's very easy to use and follow. The one thing I am disappointed in is that you have to mail a check to the state if you owe money, don't understand if you can have money deducted from say your checking account if you owe the IRS, but you must write a check to the state, hope that this is corrected by next filing.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

The software overall is easy to use. I have some minor difficulties trying to find where to make changes to driver license info but that may be just me. Worksheet information truncates driver license dates. The biggest issues I had is that it down download investment 1099's from J.P. Morgan Inc. One must manually key in the stock sale information, interest, and dividends. Turbotax does handle the downloads. For that one reason, I will go back to Turbotax.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
