I have always used the Deluxe version of H&R Block tax software and had excellent results. For the 2025 tax season, this software did not handle Schedule K-1 from Energy Transfer. In particular, I had 16 entries to be input to Box 20. The software would only provide room for 4 entries... and none of them accepted Activity Codes begining with ZZ.
Schedule K-1 is not a simple form to process and this process made it virtually impossible.

Filling the details is simple.Only one thing. There was not a good way I could enter the transfer of money from 529 ny Savings to Rollover Ira. Form 1099-Q as secure 2.0 has permitted.

not very clear to use. every tax software I have is horrible or I just suck. To be honest I couldn't even upload my w-2 anywhere. it so annoying

Imports previous year taxes ok. Seems to not know some info that it should. Can't search for some information about the software. Not obvious how to clear what ever it shows you to check. Some of that makes no sense. The planning function is not very good, and doesn't have planning for the state.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
