Fine - Except When Calculating Iowa taxes

Two years in a row HR block created significant (>20%) errors in my iowa return calculation. This year it made several mis steps during the iowa return calculation, namely an incorrect recommendation for married filing status that was NOT caught with the checker. In fact the only reason that it was caught at all was that it was picked up during the efile process. And it took significant effort to correct. This product used to be flawless, but now I will be looking elsewhere for tax preparation software. Hopefully it works better with other states!
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've worked with HR Block software for the last 5 years. it has always proved easy to use.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Software was so accurate and easy to use. loved it. Bit difficult to install because of all the stupid questions.

Very disappointed with this product. If you are not familiar with the basic tax code it would be easy to make mistakes, especially if you are claiming American Opportunity credit. Needs to ask many many more specific questions and not leave it up to the customer to look at IRS Publications to find the answers

It does what is supposed to do, quite easily. Although I could not get the import feature to operate.
