Needs some alteration!

You need to do something about the font. It is very small and very "faint", (that is it's very light in color. Without making it 'BOLD" it needs to be "heavier" so a person can read it. Now I know I can alter the monitor screen display to enlarge the font but if I do that part of the copy is off the page!
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to follow

The program does a great job of step by step fill in the blanks. I like the feature of moving info from prior years to help this tax year forms. I had some different tax situations this year like capitol gains and IRA conversions to Roth. The program led me right through. I will be a customer again next year.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Except s/w tells me I might have to submit a form 8606 and then... nothing. Doesn't help me with the form, won't let me manually add it to my e-file submission. Nothing. Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend... AFTER they fix this glaring shortcoming.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Explanations of line items weaker this year

1. I have used your software for at least 10 years. This year I found that your extra explanations or guidance for some of the line items to be weaker than previous years.
2. I suggest you post what you estimate the standard deduction to be right under the projected refund / payment amount. I worked through the itemized deductions before I saw the standard deduction amount was twice by itemized amount. I could have saved a lot of time if I had seen the standard deduction amount at the beginning.
3. Still don't see why you charge extra to e-file state returns.
