A time saver

I've been using H&R Block tax prep SW for several years, and the program makes doing your taxes much easier. The screens allow me to enter in data as it arrives in the mail, and I can walk through the screens (start to finish) a few times prior to submitting. This year I received an "identity" verification call-in (1-877-844-0529) which was unusual, but thinking about it, I'm glad that H&R Block goes further to prevent fraud.

Easy to Complete and File Return

I was able to complete and file my tax return quickly and easily with this software package. Even the Form 8606 was filled out correctly to reflect a Roth conversion, which is not always the case with some other alternatives.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I've been using H & R Block tax program since 2009 and it just keeps on getting better and better, both Federal and State. Other than not having the table in the State return at the very beginning showing you what the program has already downloaded from the Federal program, or asking questions about income, which would prevent downloading some information twice and then having to remove one of them since it was already there, the program was flawless. It's a pleasure to use.

H&R Block Deluxe 2018

I have used the H&R Block software for 15 years when it was called Taxcut. I have never been tempted to change to a competitor. I am comfortable with the software and it has always served me well.

I like the H&R Block product. It is easy to use and does a good job importing information from the previous year. The instructions on how to import data from on line institutions good be better. It turns out that you have to delete the prior year imported form before you download the new information. The final accuracy check does a good job finding issues.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
