Worked Great for my needs

Easy to use. Been using this software for many years and been satisfied. I have two rental properties and this makes it easy to enter my data.

Still the best

Have been a CPA in industry for 35 years and the HR Block software is still the easiest to use and best value for the average taxpayer.

I bought a Deluxe Federal and State Software Package for $39.95. Imagine my surprise when I began my State return and received a request for an additional $39.95! I'll go elsewhere next year.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ohio State return prepared incorrectly

This software does not operate correctly for a part=time resident of Ohio vs a full time resident. Form IT NRC - Ohio Nonresident Credit Calculation does not import the data into the correct places. Data must be overridden which invalidates the e-file option.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Did all of the calculations needed for my return based on the new tax schedules. Used it to plan my 2019 and 2020 Taxes so I could plan my payments for the future.

OK but not great.

The software was fairly straightforward but some things could be improved upon. The section regarding Health Savings Accounts seems to have a bug and I had to go into the 8889 form and make changes. Also, some areas needed more explanation. I used the online version last year and was very happy. I would not get the software version again.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
